US Bank Visa Platinum Card

US Bank Visa Platinum Card

With no frills, rewards or other embellishments that have defined the credit card space, there is only one reason to get the US Bank Visa Platinum card: it comes with an initial 0% APR on purchases and balance transfers for 18 billing cycles, followed by a variable APR of 18.74% - 28.74%. A balance transfer fee of 3% or $5, whichever is greater, applies.

Positive Points Negative Points
No penalty APR Applicable balance transfer fee
Long 0% APR introduction period No rewards program

If you want to finance a large purchase or pay off some existing debt, this card will give you plenty of time to do so. Normally, you won't find a card with a long APR offer of 0% on purchases and balance transfers. This makes the US Bank Visa® Platinum Card offer a standout and, again, is the card's biggest selling point.

Be aware that with this card, you will have to pay a balance transfer fee if you choose to transfer debt from another card. 3% of the amount of each transfer or at least $5, whichever is greater.
